We had already announced our speakers, but we also would like to introduce you to the hosts of Control Conference 2017. Each of them will host part of the program. This post includes a short bio, but you can find more information on each of them on the Control Conference website.
Eric Bartelson
Eric Bartelson is co-founder and former editor in chief of everything Control. Prior to that he was a game journalist and game scout for a large publisher. Not all at the same time though. Bartelson is host but also moderator of the publisher panel.
Zuraida Buter
Zuraida Buter curates, initiates, consults and documents events focused on playful culture and games. She is founder of playful culture organisation zo-ii and and regularly speaks about playful culture, game jams, community and collaboration at conferences and festivals worldwide.
Bertine van Hövell
Bertine van Hövell is specialised in world building and storytelling & loves creating things both silly and profound. These elements are reflected in the products she creates under Lost Again. Besides working on digital games, she also runs live action roleplay games.
Eline Muijres
Eline Muijres is communications manager at Dutch Game Garden. She has been working in the games industry since 2008, starting out as a game journalist for various websites and magazines. At Game Oven, she worked on Bounden, a mobile ballet game for two players.
Martine Spaans
Martine Spaans has been an avid gamer all her life, but she started her career in online gaming in 2006. In 2013 she officially started her own company as Tamalaki Publishing; working with game developers from all around the world to bring the best casual games to mobile.
