De
aantrekkingskracht van de Game Train is groot gebleken. Dankzij de enthousiaste
aanmeldingen van zelfstandige professionals, bedrijven en studenten uit binnen-
en buitenland zijn er inmiddels tien Game Train-titels in ontwikkeling. Voor de
aansturing van enkele van deze en toekomstige nieuwe titels zijn we op zoek
naar meerdere producers.

Als
producer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de productie van het spel van conceptfase
tot definitieve versie. Je houdt nauw contact met alle medewerkers, bepaalt de
planning en leeft deze na, en zorgt vooral dat er met tevredenheid van alle
betrokkenen een goede game wordt gemaakt.

Van
de kandidaat verlangen we dat hij of zij zeer gemotiveerd is, zelfstandig kan
werken en uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden heeft (ook in het Engels).
Ervaring en inspirerende kwaliteiten zijn een pré. Natuurlijk moet je ook
verstand hebben van games.

Net
als onze werkwijze is de sollicitatieprocedure anders. Alleen als je hebt
aangetoond een Game Train-project te kunnen managen, kom je in aanmerking voor
een vaste aanstelling. Dus je zult je eerst moeten bewijzen. Dit kan natuurlijk
part-time. Zo leer jij het Game Train-model kennen, en leren wij jou goed
kennen.

Je
vergoeding voor dit eerste project zal net als de andere projectdeelnemers een percentage van de
inkomsten zijn, na uitgave van het spel.

Bij deze nieuwe stap zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren technical lead.Als technical lead bij Flavour ben je verantwoordelijk voor alle technische aspecten die komen bij het realiseren van de projecten van Flavour. Naast het aansturen van een klein team steek je ook regelmatig zelf de handen uit de mouwen om projecten af te krijgen.

Skills

Je hebt working knowledge van serverside technologiën (Apache, MySQL, PHP) en de daarbij behorende frameworks (volgens het MVC model). Daarnaast hecht je groot belang aan security en performance en weet je waar de bottlenecks kunnen optreden bij grote projecten. Ervaring met multiplayer server technologiën is een pré.Aan de clientside kant heb je ervaring met Unity voor het web en iOS en/of directe objective-c voor iOS ervaring. Actionscript 3.0 ervaring is een pré. Je snapt hoe games opgezet dienen te worden en kan de projecten zo opzetten dat anderen ermee aan de slag kunnen.

Persoon

Naast het technische aspect heb je ook een goed begrip van mens-computer interactie. Je wordt ook betrokken in het ontwerpproces van onze producten en kijkt daarbij eerst naar de gebruiker en daarna pas naar de techniek. Je overziet grote projecten met veel mogelijke valkuilen maar je denkt altijd in oplossingen in plaats van problemen.Je hebt een passie voor game-development en speelse campagnes en je geniet van het opleveren van de oplossing voor soms complexe klantvragen. Je bent communicatief vaardig en kan technische en complexe oplossingen duidelijk verwoorden voor mensen die geen technische achtergrond hebben. Je werkt graag met mensen en weet anderen in het team te motiveren. Daarnaast werk je netjes en precies en herken je een spelfout op vijf meter afstand.

Isotx is looking for a smart and innovative senior AI programmer. The position involves writing AI algorithms for strategy games and implementing them. This includes writing strategic AI and unit behavior so it appears graphically compelling and is fun for the player. This is a full time position at our office in Utrecht, Holland. Isotx is a young, independent studio, with a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment.

Essential Skills and Experience

· 3 years’ experience in AI programming and at least one shipped title.

· Strong interest in researching and implementing new AI related technologies

· Experienced, performance-minded, C++ or C# programmer.

· Good English skills. (both written and spoken)
