The Developer Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring our clients customers receive excellent support. There are many customers using our clients SDK ranging from independent hobbyists to high profile games developers/publishers and these customers require support both on a one to one basis and through public forums.The Developer Support Analyst will also be responsible for ensuring that developers have the best experience of using our clients SDK by providing feedback from our developer community to the engineering teams.

 

Responsibilities • Analysing and troubleshooting support requests from customers• Reproducing, testing and debugging technical issues• Reporting and tracking internal defect reports received from customers• Responding to forum posts and discussions from customers developing with the  SDK• Managing relations with customers, ensuring that risks are identified and expectations are managed• Ensuring that all support activities are documented

 

Professional Skills/Experience The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong experience in the following areas:• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills• Ability to prioritise work based on plans and objectives• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non technical staff and customers• Knowledge of C++

 

Personal Skills The candidate must be able to demonstrate the following personal skills as they apply to the performance of duties:• Excellent communication skills• Good time management• Strong customer facing skills• A good team player• An interest in mobile applications and games
